Looking for serious advice. Have a relative who is looking in to this, or dental implants. Curious if anyone here has used these, and what are your experience with them, would you recommend? Thanks for the help.

You can find lots of YouTube videos of people trying them out, and most of the reviews aren't positive. Most of the reviews seem to indicate that the cosmetic device makes your teeth (and upper lip) look large and awkward. Plus, if you smile too much, the top of the device will show. And, depending on the color of your real teeth, they might contrast with the lower teeth quite a bit. At their price, unless someone is completely broke, they might be worth a gamble. If it doesn't work, they're not out very much money.

My relative has had a few surgeries, and is leery about the oral surgery to pull the teeth for implants. Thanks for the input!

Oral surgeons, as well, one would also think, though they generally deal in much more complex cases, as a rule, I've observed....

Typically, I'd expect most genl dentists who've done GPR or AEGD residencies (the two genl dental residency types) would likely know about them, though I'd also expect most prosthodontists would certainly know of them, clearly, as such hardware is typically their principal thing....
