Humbled by defeat the first time he ran for office, Bush spent the mid-1990s broadening and deepening his knowledge of how his state worked, forging relationships that softened his profile and striving to talk about what he believed in a way that would bring people together.
“I learned tone,” Bush said in an interview. “You can say the same thing that represents your core beliefs in a way that draws people toward your message, rather than pushes people away.
“And that’s a lesson in 2016,” he added. “To win, you’ve got to get to 50. To get to 50, you draw people toward your message, not use language that makes the dramatic point, which is effective in political discourse but turns some people away.”

Like most others I don't care to have another Bush (or Clinton) in office. It's still pretty early but for right now I'm supporting Donald Trump, who as of yesterday was at the top of the GOP.

PO1 John Miller, He may have more snap than he is given credit for. When he comes on as serious about his beliefs, it's hard to not listen.

Honestly my guy is Rand Paul but I can also see myself supporting Trump.
To be completely truthful I haven't researched much into Jeb's background but I'll remedy that.

If so, it hasn't been obvious recently - but it is still very early in the cycle yet.

You are very correct. But so far from the group it looks like he may be the favorite, right now at least.

SCPO David Lockwood, but it is still too early to make any assessments; there is a deep bench and the top three or four are at about 10% and all within the margin of error.
Bush has higher negatives (would never consider voting for) than others in the top tier candidates among the GOP voters - at this early date.
Nobody has come out with a clear lead at this point, though some seem to be pulling quite an anchor (ie. Trump, Christie, Graham).
Walker appears to be in the strongest position at this very early point in the campaign, IMHO.

He has not! He lacks the Energy on the Campaign! There is no fire in him from my Perspective!

SPC John Hammack, Plus,I don't think many want to have another Bush in office. I'm not knocking the Bush's. I wish more presidents had the balls to say what they think and do something besides be politically correct.
