For those who do not appreciate such recognition, it is essentially the Iraqi people thanking the US for the many years of sacrifice in keeping them safe and their country soverin. To date, the Iraqi Government has not supplied the US with the medals. This medal has been under continuous review for years. To date, the ONLY recipient has been Joe Biden.
