It would be difficult for one to fix something they don't understand. He has never been a service member so he wouldn't understand the plight of the VA staff or their patients.

YES! I know it will take YEARS to fix the VA. It wont happen over night and Obama is not totally at fault because it has been going on for a long time. HOWEVER, all this mess came to light on HIS watch and he has to do more to fix it. He needs to hold people accountable. Yet they are allowing people to resign, when they should be TERMINATED.

SSgt Alex Robinson Absolutely !! If a system is broken, and this one obviously is, our Commander-in-Chief should have the courage to take the necessary steps to change it. Unfortunately, Obama seems more interested in helping out countries who cry, "Death to America !!" than those in his own country who have said, "I would die for America".

Nail more of the pain/PTSD fakers to the walls and you'll free up plenty of time and resources for the veterans who actually need them.

I'm not saying everyone who suffers from chronic pain or PTSD is a faker, but I'm saying there's a solid number of them around. We've all known someone like that.

Very few politicians give a rats ass about veterans, the President is no different. Sure he talks a good game, but that's all it is...talk. The thing needs to be scrapped and rebuilt. Otherwise, I don't think things will ever change.
