Has the United States Army gone away with leading from the front? I blame social media for the rise in narcissistic tendencies. I heard a lot of negativity about issues like new equipment that adds nothing to the fight. When asked by Seniors, a lot of opinions changed over to “yes it’s great”. Similar to the borrowing tools to be 100 percent on inventory, not pointing out the drawbacks and smiling and nodding won’t help anyone. (I once requested to be called an opinionated jerk on an NCOER)

I used the big brother approach to corrections for other people’s soldiers not to mention I was a fan of stating my references and telling them to double check with their team leader.
