The quality of the program vary buy instructor; some are excellent and others should stick with being technicians or administrators.
The program is relatively expensive on the surface; you can easy pay $2000-$4000 per class. However, you can normally classes and get your certification in a short time. (Between a week and a couple of months) allowing you to go into workforce quickly and IT Jobs can pay well.
IT courses and certain are not easy. yes, at new horizons you finish a certification prep course in a week or two and they often provide vouchers to take the test after the course. Keep in mind, you're cramming 200+ pages of material into a week. It may require some additional study and preparation to ready for examination
Many working professionals attend NH at some point in their career to check the block for the next certification milestone in their career. They're a solid player in the industry, I'm just you an idea of expectations. Good luck! I believe they were called New Horizons Computer Learning Center back then. It was in Colorado Springs. I found them to be pretty great. Knowledgeable instructors and nice facilities. But that was nearly 20 years ago.

Good luck with your school selection. As others have stated the course work is fast passed and thorough. The real key is which instructor you get that will determine how much extra you get out of the course. As SFC Michael Jackson, MBA stated, good option .. quality of instructors will vary per location (some excellent, some good, some shouldn't be instructors). I am currently looking into MyComputerCareer as have excellent training program as well as job placement (80%) upon graduation; job placement begins upon completion of first 2-3 certifications (total of 9 certifications upon completion of program).
