Have any of you been contacted by a fake Face Book account claiming to be Active Military in Iraq?

The last two weeks I have had 3 different people claiming to be Active Military stationed in Iraq try and friend me. Once I do this they start a conversation. Within 5 minutes they are asking for "Hope Packages". When I check the Face Book page of the "Person" sending me these messages, they are blank with maybe 1 friend and 2-5 photos. They can not answer to a question that uses slightly above standard English words. I just want all of you that are post military to be warned about these scammers.

I feel fortunate to receive the emails from Africa from a person who wants to give me tons of money for a little money from me.

Yep. I've had a few of those offers myself come through the email my emails. Love the one saying that I'm related to a dead prince.

I had my FB pictures stolen and used to try and scam women out of money. My pics are all private now.

Not on FB, but I get countless emails from "Soldiers" that tell me they are in Afghanistan and need help to move monies they found in Iraq.
