I dropped off all my COAs and commendations and basically everything I had from before at S1. I followed up with them a couple times and the NCOIC of the shop concerned with me over the phone that everything was uploaded and should reflect on my SRB in a few days. So far the only thing that has shown up is a JSCM. I did not have this award before and I am wondering if this is a mistake or if this is something other prior service members have received. Have other prior service members automatically received a Joint Service Commendation Medal when switching services? 2019-02-25T22:59:56-05:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 4401309 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am currently active duty Army, but was previously active duty Marines. It became such a pain I told them to leave it how it is. It took them 5 times and 3 different S-1 shops to figure out how to put a NAM and a NUC in the system. I literally had to sit down and find the abbreviations for them. Most of my record is ipermed but my srb is always jacked up. So I don&#39;t have everything on there but the stuff that is on there I have so I just wear that when I get DA photo done that way it matches. It gets frustrating with S-1 shops but I have all my documentation so at almost 18 years now I just keep it moving lol. I&#39;ve switched services twice now and things get jacked up. You just need to stay on top of your records. Sometimes you have to sit with the clerks and translate things from the service you&#39;re coming from to the one you&#39;re joining. Sometimes you have S1 sections that had multi service clerks (one of each military branch) to sort out this kind of mess, but often times they were shortchanged on personnel. Make sure you check your iPerms as well as your SRB in the next week or so. They should be reflective of BOTH. If they are not there, it will be time to &quot;cordially pester&quot; the NCOIC to recheck until it is right. When it comes to records, it is not like fine wine, it doesn&#39;t age well.
