Have tinnitus (and rated for it), and hearing loss (rated at 0%). Now feeling dizzy when getting out of bed then it goes away after a bit?

Question is should I claim it as secondary to hearing loss or tinnitus or something else - or just deal with it? Going to see a VA doctor in a couple of days.

Until you have a diagnosis of the possible condition and whether it is temporary or not, a claim may be premature. Keeping in mind, of course, that it would take a "more likely than not secondary to..." determination by your physician.

Inner ear issues have been known to cause dizziness. I don't know that to be related to tinnitus, though.
I think your first step is to get a diagnosis, then go from there. Hopefully it is treatable and not permanently affecting.

You should send the VA an "Intent To File A Claim" form to preserve the effective date of your anticipated claim. You have one year from the date the VA receives the form to file the actual claim.

I have almost no high frequency hearing due to tinnitus. It took years of fighting with the VA, they gave me 0% for the hearing loss but 10% for tinnitus.

Do what you can medically to find the cause. I also have tinnitus and feel dizzy getting out of bed or when laying down for a period of time. Try what I do, see if it helps. When you wake up, don't get out of bed right away. Stretch in bed and move around before going vertical. I still feel dizzy but haven't fallen over yet using this method. Hope it helps you too.
