Have you ever had marriage issues while deployed?

Too many relationships have failed due to separation from deployments. As member's of the armed services we experience separation and stresses that are unknown to the general public. Because of the unique nature of these experiences it is hard to get support from normal avenues because there is not that shared understanding or common experiences. Seek out people who have strong values and morals with similar experiences to help.

On my last deployment, we were involved in a collision in the Strait of Hormuz. One week later a woman wrote me on facebook informing me that she was sleeping with my husband. Yes I had issues, but honesly I'm grateful she did that. I obviously left him and I've moved on with my life and so much happier. I pray you don't have to go through anything this bad, and whatever it is, I hope you can work it out.
