There were a lot of challenges in that position a lot of paperwork a lot of griping about maintenance logs not being completed PMCS level 10 and then you're a services were always a problem to get done because mission and maintenance don't always go together and then you have some commanders who did not always see why that was so important and they always seem to task the unit level maintenance NCOs with 50 other jobs that added onto their problems of getting where they're going and then there clerks were backlogged worst-case and Ariel is you're going to have a big headache all the time

Sorry. I was a Food Service Training NCO. All we do is play with fire and MRE.

Most are billets under G4 Maintenance section. Additionally is a balance for the logisrics maintenance aspect plus the coordinating of efforts with the G6 on matters of signal equipment status. This is due to my knowledge amd experience that the senior 948B is in G6 thus, between the two you have tracking knowledge of system staus' and now with GCSS- Army making life easier you dual hat mostly with the OIP/CIP inspections. Naturally you also will lend a helping hand within the ALOC or Div CP pending your knowledge and familiarity with missions. All that is in my experience at 1ID HQ. Good luck and enjoy.

SFC (Join to see) - All of that sounds like a foreign language to me in a sense that I've been out of normal Army operations for awhile now. However, I'm excited about moving on to new things. I spoke with my 1SG this morning and its all about developmental positions. Do you know of any DL courses I could take to refresh my knowledge? Also, thank you for your response.

Sorry for not responding earlier on JKO there are numerour courses. Unfortunately there are no direct courses for division level but, there are some on joint staff and joint J4 logistics. That covers a broad spectrum of info regarding inter staff workings. Another course to look in to is the joint senior professional military education course part 1 and 2.
