I've taken the somewhat similar test twice now and both times it says I side with Rubio. This time t was 90%. The Bern and HRC are at 24% and 39%. I'M a little surprised Cruz is second on my list. I cant stand to listen to him talk.

I would suspect Rubio with a lot of the MILs as he has marketed himself as hitting the sweet spot on the various demographic curves that MILs are on.

My thoughts on this are as follows:

I spend a lot of time arguing (or discussing) politics. I have a lot of friends that are not in the same process of thought as me and sometimes I am proven wrong or adjust my beliefs based on facts or thought processes I had not considered.

This led me to wondering what my actual beliefs were, rather than picking one side or another (as I already despise the status quo and 2 party system).

I have started compiling a list (in detail) of what I actually believe, why I believe them, and any facts to back up my beliefs.

I have found that there is no political group or belief system that actually depicts my beliefs, nor are there any political personas that I can relate to on a majority of issues.

I've mentioned it before in a previous thread, but it's not the "similarities that matter," it's the differences.

My results above weren't surprising (I align with A LOT of candidates at 75%-80%). However when I look at the things I disagree with them on... It's stuff that is "insurmountable" differences in philosophy.

Most of the politicians have a lot of great ideas. They also have a lot of bloody stupid ones. I usually can't get past their stupid ones enough to vote for them.

96% Cruz and Carson, 95% Rubio, 94% Trump, 71% Bush, 69% Johnson, 53% Bloomberg, 18% Clinton, 3% Sanders.

I think Trump is rated too high though because it seems to be based upon what he claims he will do rather than on what I believe he will actually do. He has been a liberal most of his life and other than that he seems to have no guiding principles other than his own self-advantage.

93% with Bernie. I went through and compared my answers to "his answers" and found that a lot of stuff we disagreed with I could see why he thought the way he did, and while maybe I didn't 100% agree, it still made sense. Very interesting "quiz"!
