When Sgt David A. 'Cowboy' Groth commented on one of my posts after one year, I was floating into space. For some reason, I have always wanted him to voice an opinion on one of my posts. It felt like having the teacher point out to the class that my contribution was relevant.

You are relevant. You don't need anyone to validate you

CPT Jack Durish absolutely, I am confident in me. It's just still an honor to have family, community, strangers, coworkers, etc. to let one know that their existence makes a difference.

SGT Christopher Hayden but never mine. And in the strings he and I show up on, I see few comments by him or on particular members.
