Have you heard about StoryCorps?

"StoryCorps’ mission is to provide people of all backgrounds and beliefs with the opportunity to record, share and preserve the stories of our lives.
We do this to remind one another of our shared humanity, to strengthen and build the connections between people, to teach the value of listening, and to weave into the fabric of our culture the understanding that everyone’s story matters. At the same time, we are creating an invaluable archive for future generations."

They have produced several short videos relating war stories that are especially poignant. Inasmuch as I tend to be very open minded I can see how some of their videos may be controversial or even repugnant to some. But the ones with military/war stories should be of great interest to all here. I highly recommend them.

Yes. They are doing a great job capturing personal stories. More vets should take advantage of the program and share their stories.
