I knew that the Admiral had been a POW. I had no idea that his wife was not only an integral part of getting him back, but also such a voice for the fair treatment of the prisoners. I don't think it is sad that she passed. She was 90 years old. She was suffering from a horrible disease. Now she is free, and now she can be with her husband. She made a difference. She took a stand on behalf of those who could not speak for themselves. What an amazing woman. Rest in peace madam.Response by PO3 Steven Sherrill made Oct 15 at 2015 12:50 PM2015-10-15T12:50:36-04:002015-10-15T12:50:36-04:002015-10-15T11:21:48-04:00
