Over the past few weeks you have seen or heard of threats made by ISIS toward U.S. personnel. Because of these threats, it is wise to review and to remember the type of information that should be place on personal social media sites. Do not make yourself a target for any unsafe action.

Please take time to review the attached Smart Cards and also review your personal social media site(s) to ensure there is no information criminal or terrorist elements could potentially exploit. You are encouraged to share these Smart Cards with family members and friends.

The Army also has developed a social media handbook that can be found at: http://www.slideshare.net/USArmySocialMedia/social-media-handbook-2013. This web site is accessible from commercial ISPs, and is available for everyone to read.
