Lets hope they're durable and wont have half the problems as when they fielded the ACUs back around 2005-06

From what I read, the plan will be to make this pattern the go to general pattern, with desert ops and jungle ops variants coming soon.

I can't recall where i read it..maybe Army Times.

There is going to be a change in boots and undergarments as well. Darker shades of green/tans to match the outer garments.

When I bought my light as air $130 boots a few years back I was hoping that they would be my last pair...guess I will have to see how long before the Reserves get this uniform.

Looks sharp.

Is this finally going to be the one size fits all camo that congress has been pushing to save money by avoiding individual services developing their own field grade uniforms?

That I'm not sure about. They only mentioned the Army in the article. Although I'm still trying to figure out why the Navy needed blue digicam...lol

I worked on a joint base with a huge Navy presence, and never could figure that out either. If I were a sailor falling off a ship, I'm certain I wouldn't want to look like the big blue ocean. Paint me bright orange so you can see bobbing up and down out there!
