People like this are just as blind and stupid as can be. They don't realize that most of the US Military has never killed anyone. Now this Soldier in this pic has an CIB and jump wings, so best bet is he has been in a firefight or 4. With that said, ask almost any US troop and they will tell you they signed up to defend this nation and when we ask them to go to far off places and confront evil people, such as the Nazis (since she respected WWII Vets) they go, but in the end there are fighting for the man (or woman) to their left and their right.

Are there people who join for the opportunity to legally kill another human, probably. But I would venture to say that number is less than a half a percent, at the highest.

I liken this girl to those who spat on our troops returning from Vietnam and called them baby killers. They live in this self centered Utopian belief that if we just ignore evil it will ignore us. They can't see the truth for their own ignorance.

President Bush did incur more national debt, that is what happens when you wage 2 wars against evil men. President Bush inherited a debt from President Clinton, who inherited debt from the other President Bush. She didn't seem to mention that President Obama has racked up more debt, even though the 2 wars we were fighting are supposed to be turning down. She neglected to comment on the fact that all Presidents have to make tough choices that we in the civilian and lower ranks of the military are not, and should not, be privy to.

She might be taken more seriously if she would pull that crappy hardware out of her face and perhaps use intelligent conversation instead of throwing around profanities that lead me to believe she can't form an educated thought.

We don't wear the uniform to look cool, we don't go around wanting people to look at us. It is generally the opposite, we don't like to draw attention to ourselves. What we think looks cool about each other is generally not understood by those outside our circles and we could generally give a rats' ass what people think. DO we appreciate gratitude for the sacrifices we, our families, and friends make; heck yes. Is that the reason we do what we do, heck no.

I for one, serve because Christ has taught me to put others above myself, to lead by serving. My Parents taught me to use the talents God has given me to make the World a better place, to do what I can to give back to those who came before me and to lift up those who will come after me.

Dumb person is dumb.
If she didn't have all that stuff in her face and then comment on how other people look stupid, and she wasn't considered attractive by her peer group this would have never gone viral, and no one would care.
I still don't.

And when it's cold, and I'm in uniform and too dumb to wear snivel gear, I feel cold, and stupid.

We as veterans and service members alike raise our hand to swear an oath that never ends. Inferred in this oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States is the right to be stupid. I may not agree with what this child had to say but I will fight to the death for her right to be wrong/stupid. And as we all know, you can't fix stupid.

Wow! I don't go on Facebook much so I hadn't seen this until just now. It is really amazing how ignorant, arrogant, entitled and selfish this young lady sounds. I can't believe that there are people out there that are that diluted, but with the direction our country is headed I'm sure there will be more. I suppose before the day of instant gratification with cell phone cameras there were halfwits too, but there thoughts were not as easily broadcast.
