President Obama What Part of NO Did You Not Understand The First Time???
Governor Greg Abbott I hope to hear / see your reply to President Obama's reminder sent to you and all Governors on the day before Thanksgiving very soon.... An Executive reminder that was sent to you and the other 33 Governors specifically in which POTUS had Director Carey, Office of Refugee Resettlement instruct you all on the facts that you have no choice but to comply with the President's resettlement order.... REALLY....

"Mr. President what part of No did you not understand the first time and you can take your federal dollars for resettlement and put them where the sun does not shine......you send these refugees to Texas and they will be put on the next plane to DC and you can put them up at the White House...Signed Gov. Greg Abbott"
Now GOP Senators grow a pair and defund Obama's Refugee program that the President just does not understand he does not have American support for when there are real alternatives to....Alternatives that I and many others have pointed to....Solutions that are in Syria and the Middle East not the US and not in Europe.....read and learn just what those Alternatives are.....

The letter basically tries to re assure us that many different agencies are involved or will be involved in the "VETTING" process, yet it still does NOT say/state how it's going to be done. After all, with the SYRIAN government being an ENEMY to the US, how in the world would we or any of these agencies VET anyone coming over? Where will these agencies get their information to confirm each individual is who they say they are and get background on them other than what they will be providing on the forms which they will be filling out?!?!?

Sgt Kelli Mays When I see stuff like this coming from our government I just shake my head in total bewilderment! What about our poor, our chidlren leaving in poverty, children leaing on the streets, veterans and civilians that are homeless? Where are the lasws that cover them?

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - Mikel; I, too, find it more than slightly disturbing when the National government DICTATES to the State governments. EVEN when the National government has the law solidly on its side.
Of course, if the State governments are acting irrationally, then there might be some purpose to the National government telling the State governments where to go and what to do when they get there.
