Have You Thanked Your Mentor Lately?

My mentor was an Armor Battalion Commander when I was PL. He gave me good insights to leadership like thanking the support soldiers and having fun with the troops. He fought for me a couple times, which I call the deep fight. A fight I could not impact myself. Today I am going to call him to tell him how much he rocked as mentor. I think he will get a kick out of that.
