Have you tried the Glock 43? What are your thoughts?

So I just picked up a new Glock 43 (subcompact 9mm if you're not familiar with it) today. I've been debating for a while on a new pistol as I want one for concealed carry. I haven't fired it yet but I have fired many Glocks in the past and am familiar with them.
What are your thoughts as to accuracy and concealing? Do they "print" a lot when you conceal carry it?

I haven't played with the 43 (single stack), but I have played with the 26 (double stack).
It's a great little carry piece, and was usually the ankle/backup for the locals in the DC Metro area who used 9x19 (G17).
To piggyback off Capt Mark Strobl's post:
1) I'm not a fan of 9mm for carry mainly because of knockdown (kinetic energy transfer). I like bullets that begin with a 4. (my carry is a .45). However if you are already carrying another Glock (like a 17 or a 19) this is a great complimentary piece.
2) Something to keep in mind however is that you cannot use the same mags in the G43 like you can with the G26 because it's single stack, which is a disadvantage if you are using it as a backup.
3) Short barrel, 9mm, very "snappy." I've never encountered any feed issues with any Glocks as long as you keep them moderately clean though.
4) Low round count. 6+1 (7+1 with extended mag). It's great to believe 100% on target, however the running statistic is actually somewhere between 25-33% which means 2-3 rounds.
As for printing, that really depends on where you are carrying, and the style of holster. It's slimmer than the G26 by about half a cm (30mm v 26mm).

I already carry a G17 so I am used to a 9mm. I am looking into the extended mag, but that would also make the gun that much longer and more susceptible to printing, in my opinion. I did buy the weapon on base however, and it did come with a magazine/grip extender. It doesn't increase the capacity of the mag but it does make the grip about 1/4 inch longer. I like that because without the extender, the grip is too short to comfortably put my pinkie finger on it.
As to holster, I did buy a cheap IWB holster just so that I can start carrying it, but I am going to get an Alien Gear IWB holster. I've read great reviews on them and talked to a few people who recommend them.

Nice little piece. Good profile for CC folks. But, two thing I don't like:
1.) I'm not big fan of the 9mm, in general, for self-defense. Round is too small and moves too fast. I want KNOCKDOWN power!
2.) It's comfortable within 15'. Due to the short barrel, accuracy gets a little suspect (but, that is my fault --not the pistol's)
However, if you need to point something a bad guy, it'll do just fine.

Though the 9mm is not my first choice, the technical advances made in projectiles have vastly improved performance. Recent FBI tests show very similar performance between the .40 S&W and 9mm. For concealed, I don't want something so heavy it becomes a pain to carry. But, we can talk all day about personal preferences when it comes to guns and calibers. My advice would be to carry something you are competent with and have confidence in.

SgtMaj Kenneth Dillon - Physics, schmysics, ...I agree. Shoot with what you are comfortable. Most bad guys won't spend too much time assessing if you are holding a 9mm, .40-cal, or a 357.

I've been wearing my Glock in my IWB holster ever since I got it, even while at home sitting on the couch just so I can get used to it. I have to admit I'm getting to the point where I hardly even know it's there anymore, and I think that's a good thing!

Love it!!! For me, it's compact, lightweight, shoots great and is so easy to handle. Not sure exactly what you're looking for but I've had no issues with it. I have a Glock 26 also and this one is by far my favorite. The single stack makes it such an easy concealed carry without sacrificing the punch.

I have noticed that my 43 doesn't print very much, so I do like that.
