I have a question? How long does it take to get a chapter out when you have an injury? also why is it fine for a Sgt. continue to haze a soldier and tell them they are going to knock them out? also the Sgt.said she is going to try to get them as many counselings as they can to prevent an honorable discharge its only one Sgt. and all the other ones have stuck up for the soldier on numerous occasions.

To answer your question(s):

1) For the Chapter, there is no set in stone time frame. However long it takes is however long it takes. Could be 3 months, could be 18 months. It all depends on how squared away the packet it and how long it takes for EACH LEVEL of Command to review and approve (if all is correct). If the packet is not correct, it is sent ALL THE WAY BACK to the beginning to be restarted.
2) It is NOT fine for an NCO to haze a Soldier. And threatening physical violence is not okay.
3) That NCO can write all the counseling statements they want, but in the end it's up to the COMMAND LEVELs to determine what kind of discharge the Soldier gets.

So, if said SM is being personally attacked and feels threatened and being hazed, then said SM needs to take this issue to the next higher level. For example, if it's the Team Leader, then take the issue to the Squad Leader. If each level is notified but does nothing, then it needs to be taken to the next level.

This sounds just silly. First off, in order to "get a counselling" you have to do something wrong. Also, counselling isn't going to downgrade a discharge. It's pretty hard to get a discharge downgraded without actually breaking some rules. Even PT failure discharges are honorable providing the soldier followed all the rules in the fitness improvement program.
