Whatever you do - check onboard in the proper uniform of the day (call ahead) with full seabag (check the list, get it right) and set yourself up for success with a completely open mind and positive attitude. Carrier duty is unique, exciting, and nothing like anything you've ever experienced!
Oh yeah...while I'm at it....get used to being lost!
