Hello, I’m a 92Y female. I’m reclassing to 11B. The course is on Camp Robinson, NLR, Arkansas. Any pointers from someone who has attended?

I just wanted to see if anyone has attended this course on Camp Robinson recently? And if so, any tips and advice (Land nav isn’t an issue for me) anything will help, thanks!

Used to teach classes on Robinson...if your good to go on Land nav and PT you'll be fine. If they still let you go to town...just dont , easy to get lost and end up in a really dangerous area seen it happen...everything you need on post or catch a cab to the AF base

SGT Private RallyPoint Member , first congrats on your reclass. Second, since you are already in, you have access to all the publications available to a Soldier. It never hurts to study, study, study. I would study Marksmanship, Land Nav, Medical, and even Camouflaging (there is a pub for that). Also study hand and arm signals. These are all things that you will have to know inside and out as an Infantry..woman

Land Nav is an issue for Everyone, including the Night Phase.
Study all:
CLS (Combat Life Saver)
All Current Wpns Systems In Use For A Line Unit These Days
Comms Systems In Use These Days
Fire Team Formations Including Pointman Tactics
All Hand Signals For Fire Team, Landing A Chopper, & Sling Loading
Get The 11B SQT Manual & A Ranger Handbook....know them cover to cover as much as possible

Be in shape, some Units require high assed APFT Scores or you're always on Remedial/Fat Program +2/day PT sessions...Our Unit Back In The Day Was 280 min score every month...

Lastly, be able to "self" ruck up an 120lb kit, vest, weapon, all gear, & march 12 m in 3 hours... 25 m in 12 hours...

Do all this, you're Golden for 11B(L) back in 88' - 93'...
