I will say this one time and only ONE TIME, conversation in a military relationship between you and your “Partner” is the very beginning on all problems BECAUSE, communication in a military relationship is SUPPOSED to be between a man and a woman NOT between some bent or broke wrist running across the battle field trying to remember whether or not he/she turned off their ez-bake oven and worried about the damn light bulb blowing because his cupcake dough was too wet.

Recruiter: Sir, these are the papers for your husband to sign in the event your taken against your will to another place around the world to shoot your ‘gun’ at someone and you get hurt when your tampon falls out and he can get your SGLI money and attend the lovers rainbow run to KMart.
My holy blessed Jesus, what friggin planet do we have to find where men are men and boys are boys, women still know what a stove is and has an allowance from her husband equal to or greater than her husbands gross salary and welcomes him home with a smile and a butt rub all before he has time to remove his head gear and unzip his pants before she just jumps in ?

Every time I breath I have to return to my home armory to ensure I’m up to date, every things clean and Ammo count is true.
Keep your barrel clean, sights straights and true and every morning when you look in the mirror ensure there’s a knot sticking out of your throat, your pants say mens size and lastly, you have the phone number to your local Hells Angel club in case you feel a conversation coming on.

I advocate a meeting of the minds. Possible marriage counseling and retreats. This is even more important if PTSD is involved in the family. If nothing is done then the risk of divorce is quite high.
