Helping daughter research 3D0x3 field, did you recieve job at Meps or Basic? Any info you want to share?

She likes programming, human intelligence, cyber security, linguist. She got a 98 on the ASVAB. Waiting on an Ortho appointment consult for a waiver on her Dorsal Flexes??? Failed duck walk. She is logging her 1.5 mile times every morning so she can give doctor something concrete about how she isn't limited and can make it though basic without hurting herself. Goal is to do it everyday and show consistent improvement overtime.

For all of those things, I wouldn't advise going into the 3D0X3 AFSC. We take a smaller part of security than the name of our AFSC might imply (Cyber Surety). They took all of the boundary security stuff and gave it to other AFSCs. Most of what our AFSC entails are passive means of defense and by that I mean mostly paperwork. You'll find a few one off 0X3s doing stuff like network scans but they're very few and far in between. I'd advise something more along the lines of Cyber Operations, or Cyber Transport for the experience they get and how that translates directly to the civilian world.
