I don't have a favorite, but it have one I can't stand! As a young SrA I picked up a second job to help offset Christmas that year. So for 8 hours a night, 6 nights a week, I stocked shelves at the commissary. For $15 a hour, I figured, it would be worth it. Well starting the day after halloween, the Christmas music started. Every 30 mins on the dot, "Santa Baby" played. By New Years, it was slowly driving me insane. I still cringe when I hear it and it has been more then a decade!

"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" for a ballad and "Sleigh Ride" for something more upbeat. And although not necessarily a Christmas song, "Ave Maria" is often peformed during the holidays and can be hauntingly beautiful.

Silver Bells and White Christmas. I grew up watching the old re-run black and white Christmas movies with Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, etc.

I also like Jingle Bell Rock but every time I hear it I only think of the opening scenes from Lethal Weapon. This is what happens when you are raised by television! :)

Most Christmas music is too saccharine for my taste. Listening to them played and replayed for weeks on end is like nails dragging across a chalkboard. That is until TSO began performing hard rock versions. Even then, I don't want to listen more than a week or two
