Ok first off, I know Navy guys try to sow their wild oats and stuff, but really, Olive Oyl? I mean she must be anorexic and I know some of you go to the Philippines and Japan. So come on, what's with that?

PO3 John Jeter He's the man!!! But Olive you needs an intervention. Send to the poser with the clinic for the actors. It's like 25,000 - 80,000 a month and I believe that Pax guy is hitting on patient from what I read. Passages or something like that. Nice seeing you again John!

The dog was "Otto" and he belonged to Sgt Snorkel.
I used to laugh myself silly over Lt Fuzz. Many times in the Navy, we compared some hapless Ensign or Marine Lt. to him. Most of the characters had their counterparts in the Navy, that's why we used to love it so much.
I don't know if it still is, but Beetle was banned from Stars and Stripes because it supposedly promoted disrespect towards Officers. *grin*
