The honorable Secretary / Senator Hillary Clinton met with the parents of "shooting victims" and stated that "we have allowed our criminal justice system to get out of balance." My interpretation is this is another attempt at politics pertaining to both gun control and law enforcement. What say you?

What does HRC mean by "we"? She and her party have had control of the Administration which happens to include the administration of justice for almost seven years during which time the civil discord she complains of has spun out of control. Granted, she was not party to that part of the Administration that directly administers justice, but she has been vocally active on the sidelines and, by her campaign commentary, we can expect more of the same should she be elected President.

We are incarcerating more and more misdemeanors and low level non-violent felons than ever before!! Community service, house arrest, and other options are available and not taking up jail/prison space. Incarceration is a business. Counties and the state get federal funding for locking up as many as possible. It's called the criminalization of America. The G'ovt wants as many as possible to have a criminal record. Take the tax dollars away from local and State prison and watch the incarnation rate of the above go down. Violent offenders/sex offenders should be locked up. 31 years law enforcement experience......

SFC Dr. Joseph Finck, BS, MA, DSS Once again a member of the Democratic Party is hoping that taking advantage of people who have already been victims, can lead them to the White House. Be it Black Lives Matter, immigration policy status quo, or gun violence Hillary seems to be exploiting minorities on all fronts, and damn the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or any amendments. A criminal herself, I hope that she will soon be a true part of that criminal justice system, wearing her favorite color of orange.

HRM is no different than any other politician. Lie, steal, and promise. You will get one if not all three regardless of party affiliation. Pandering to a particular demographic? Damn right she is, and so are the others. Pick a niche, blow sweet nothings in their ears, maybe even fondle their ego's a little, and you have another hooked on the BS you're selling. No party represents the people; the PEOPLE represent themselves, yet allow some clown to tell them what they need and why it should go below what those million dollar donors really want. If BLM or the families of those victimized by police, or those who suspect the police of wrongdoing think for one damn second beyond the north and south movement of HRM's necks (or any other candidate), they'll get anything more, they are sadly mistaken. If anyone who believes the police are the greatest things since sliced bread think any of these candidates are really pro-cop, they're blind also. They are forgotten as soon as she or any other candidate turns their heads and their handlers move them to the next "important demographic", that needs some attention. As much as I'm not a fan of his, yet I like his IDGAF attitude Trump is the most unpresidential, presidential candidate out there. No filter, no common sense, no real way to get anything done short of bankruptcy, and his "I'm a nice guy" but a bully attitude, is the most "honest" person out there. But he doesn't come close to impressing me enough to waste a hour of my life to stand in line to vote for him. And that goes for any of the current crop of losers running on both sides. There's a lot of work to be done in this country, but what we have running things in office and for office are not the ones needed to fix it.
