Home defense shotgun: would you buy the UTS-15?2014-11-11T21:05:01-05:002014-11-11T21:05:01-05:00CPL Rick Stasny322860<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No. I would say they want your first born in trade for that. Pure home defense, I will take a police model 870 with cylinder bore and alternating load of 00 buck and rifled slugs. Remember, 00 spreads 1 inch every yard, and slugs are very accurate at 50 yards. So if you slow them down with buckshot, you can finish the job with a 1 oz slug. Just my 2 cents.Response by CPL Rick Stasny made Nov 11 at 2014 9:37 PM2014-11-11T21:37:16-05:002014-11-11T21:37:16-05:00SGT Richard H.322865<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'd probably go with one off these if I was looking for a home defense shotgun....I'm a semi-auto guy.<br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/8-CENT-SG1875N">http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/8-CENT-SG1875N</a>Response by SGT Richard H. made Nov 11 at 2014 9:39 PM2014-11-11T21:39:19-05:002014-11-11T21:39:19-05:00Capt Richard I P.322887<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This design is tactically superior with its detachable magazines and auto-loading. It has a greater capacity and cuts reload time. And its made in America, in Idaho, instead of Turkey.
