What I see seems to address National Guard, which are "State" militia as far as I understood it. Only when they serve in a combat zone does their VA entitlements begin to take shape. Am I misinformed?Response by Sgt Spencer Sikder made Sep 1 at 2015 9:11 PM2015-09-01T21:11:43-04:002015-09-01T21:11:43-04:00SrA Private RallyPoint Member934473<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You know what I don't agree on is that (& I'm sure it's also applicable for the reserves as well) in the NG you can't use your home loan until you've put 6 years into service whereas active duty can use it after 90 days... So 3 months of active duty is equivalent to 6 years NG/reserves?
