I read the memorandum that states ALC/SLC will be temporarily waived for promotion. Because I am otherwise qualified for promotion, does this mean if I make points for May I will be promoted and complete ALC at a later date? My initial understanding of the text is that those who have not completed ALC/SLC will be added to a “second” list and will only be promoted if no soldier is available for promotion that has completed ALC/SLC.
