When I was there the barracks had mold issues. But the base has mostly been closed since then.

Every part of the Combined Effort in the ROK has moved or is moving to Humphries. Yongsan is no longer Base of the USFK or elements of the 8th Army. Camp Kim is still alive for SOC-K, though. I wish you well and "Go Get Um Sergeant".

From the comments ... I can’t believe my Yongsan base is gone... oooh the memories... Itaewon Red Cycle... Trip from the White House to CP Tango and back... Driving on missions throughout the city... Taking the subway to Hongdae on New Years and partying all night long and remembering everything I did because I’m a non-drinker.... Best Memories Ever.
