One for my company and one under my name. However, they are both exactly the same since I am the company.
LinkedIN has certainly helped me in connecting with others in my field worldwide and I am constantly communicating with people across the globe that may not want to participate in any of the other social media sites like Facebook or Twitter.
Many professionals want to keep it strictly that, and just want to focus on their professional interests.
Also, many companies look to LinkedIN to seek the employee that would match their requirements for a particular job.
It's like a "one-stop-shop" for recruiters instead of having to go to the hundreds of different recruiting agencies out there.
I found it to be a very valuable site.
