Also, many states have &quot;short lists&quot; for volunteers (usually to augment other Units from those states). <br /><a target="_blank" href="https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-can-i-volunteer-for-deployment-as-national-guard-member">https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-can-i-volunteer-for-deployment-as-national-guard-member</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> <img src="https://d26horl2n8pviu.cloudfront.net/link_data_pictures/images/000/179/184/qrc/fb_share_logo.png?1496370754"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-can-i-volunteer-for-deployment-as-national-guard-member">How can I volunteer for deployment as National Guard member? | RallyPoint</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description">13F looking for a deployment opportunity. I am a 68w. If you have been on station for over a year, you can look in the Assignment Satisfaction Key for an open requisition. That&#39;s how I got my 2nd deployment. Then your readiness nco should have the information your looking for, if not talk to your chain of command. Make sure your PT is top notch.
