Strings can get pulled and/or a PV2 can show out above and beyond the SPC and go in their stead. I&#39;ve seen it happen both ways. I had 2 PV2 and one PFC in my BLC. I also had about 2 dozen SGT. I think we had a PFC there when I was in PLDC in 1986.<br />BNOC the requirement was any E-5 or above, or any rank, if they were in an E-5 or above slot. Think we had a E-4 Corporal at mine in &#39;88.<br />It depends on the needs of the Army, and they have &#39;X&#39; amount of slots for every course, and rather than teach with less personnel they will often go to units, last minute when I was on active duty in Germany in &#39;82 and ask if we had anyone eligible for PLDC or what the above requirements llisted were? Stewart we sent a newly promoted PFC because we had a slot that we needed to fill so we requested a waiver and our Soldier got in.
