She was asking me on how can she help her parents get a green card while being in the military. She mentioned something about military parole but I know there is a way around things in the military I just want to be correct when telling her the information. I know for a fact it is a very lengthy process. How can a SM help their parents and siblings get their green card while serving? 2021-07-15T19:16:02-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 7110829 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was talking to one the Soldiers that work in the orderly room today. From my experience assisting former soldiers petitioning their immediate family to the US, there&#39;s no getting around immigration laws, especially military parole. Military parole is a process to get through as long as the forms are filled out accurately and status of the SM is above board. Botching an application would result in deportation so she needs professional advice not a comments section on the internet. She also needs to be advised to not take &quot;barracks lawyers&quot; advice as that can more often than not seriously impact negatively as barracks lawyers are mostly idiots. They think they know but they do not. Response by SSG Brian G. made Jul 16 at 2021 11:30 PM 2021-07-16T23:30:45-04:00 2021-07-16T23:30:45-04:00 2021-07-15T19:16:02-04:00
