Reclassing, waivers, units you could PCS to, none of these are my forte. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I&#39;ll give you the same advice I give to everyone else that finds difficulty in getting promoted to the NCO corps. Focus on what you can achieve, and set realistic goals to get there. So what is in your control? Education. Maxing out your military education takes time, but is easy. Civilian education is harder, but can be worked towards. Other things like APFT and weapons qualification are in your control too. I&#39;m not sure what your PT situation is considering your &quot;past medical conditions,&quot; but I&#39;m assuming you conduct some kind of alternate event. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;For awards you can sniff around and see if your command is feeling generous. If they are you might be able to add a COA to your ERB. If they are feeling extremely generous and can wrangle it you might even be able to get an impact AAM. Long shots, but worth pursuing considering your situation. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The point of all of this is to focus on what you can control. Apparently deploying and schools aren&#39;t in that category, so focus on what is. Who knows?
