Some items might be irrelevant. Most of the documents you will need, if you had access to them before, will be on your reserve OMPF. Go to the HRC website. Click on My Records tab. Login. Look for the reserve component records. A lot of times these don't all transfer to your Active Duty OMPF. When I transferred from the NG to the reserves, my medical records went "missing". All efforts on my part to locate them were unsuccessful. Then, about 8 months later, they just suddenly "appeared" on our S1 NCOIC's desk one day. She claims to have no idea where they came from or who brought them. They weren't there, she went to lunch and when she came back there they were. It's a miracle..... That's why every document you ever get should be IPERMed ASAP. Make a copy for your files, scan and save a backup copy on a disk or flash drive. The instructions are on the back of the form telling you where to send it. Army records go to St Louis Army Records Center. Be patient..6 weeks or more because certain volunteers like VFW members pick up your form snd locate your records. The volunteer makes copies and mails the form to you. Good luck. Archives and Records Admin. (NARA)...that&#39;s what you have to use...the space on the Java applet is pretty small, so you&#39;re gonna have to abbreviate, in all likelihood...you also have to NOT lose the printout with the submission number when you print out the website acknowledgment, PLUS, you MUST sign and date the eVetRecs copy you print out, AND ask for BOTH your personnel AND your med/dental files, NPRC views those as distinct...plus, if you call NPRC in St. Louis, the staff there really are quite helpful, as well as reachable, the thing is, the switchboard staff can look up your stuff ONLY if you&#39;ve got the reference number or code or whatever it is on the eVetRecs printout, which, as I&#39;d said, MUST be signed and dated, when you fax it back, there&#39;s a fax number on the printouts when you generate them...now, also, once you fax it back, signed and dated, PLUS having submitted it online, then, you typically need to wait a couple of weeks, you should get a letter from them in the mail that they&#39;re looking for your stuff...you might also want to possibly fax back, at the same time as the signed and dated eVetRecs form, a cover letter, explaining as precisely as you can what you want, which explicit component of stuff you need, and/or have already...then, once you actually get the stuff, it&#39;s all gonna be double-sided, to save a tree, of course...so, because double-sided tends to be a pain, plus, the stuff might not be in precise chronologic order, go over to a copy place, and run it off yourself, DON&#39;T have the copy place do it, or you&#39;re likely to have pages out of order, as well as blank pages added in, that happens with our record stuff all the time whenever my wife and I get such stuff run off...if you need help from the supervisors at NPRC, trust me, they are very reachable, as well as approachable, we&#39;ve gotten all my stuff, as well as alot of family stuff, from both my side, as well as my wife&#39;s side, so, as long as you give them enough info, they can generally find it...the fire in the old NPRC facility around 1973, I think, affected Army records only, however, I gather you were in way after that (NPRC moved to a totally new building a few years ago), they call their reference units their reference cores, that&#39;s their lingo for them...hopefully, that should at least be enough to get you started, if you need any more help, just let me know, and I&#39;ll try to explain as much more as I possibly can...the only other thing you might want to think about is, if you need the help and your stuff can&#39;t be found for any reason, you can always ask all three of your Congressional offices, the local ones, not the DC ones, they&#39;re gonna all need Privacy Act (PA) requests filled out, it&#39;s the law, before they can actually try to do anything for you, whether send any letters, and/or make any calls...likely, NPRC should be able to find all your stuff, the only thing they don&#39;t keep on file is VA stuff, all VA clinical records are kept by individual VA hospitals, to get all that, you need to call their release of info (ROI) offices, as that stuff is obviously under HIPAA and PA, possibly FOIA, though definitely at least HIPAA and PA...as I said, I hope all that helps, just ask if you want me to try going into anymore detail, OK? And if you get the stuff, I&#39;d be interested to know as well, no rush, I&#39;d just be curious, that&#39;s all, honest, however, only if you have time to send something, no big deal, honest, OK? <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://search.aol.com/aol/search?q=evetrecs&amp;s_it=loki-tb-sb">evetrecs - AOL Search Results</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description">Our online eVetRecs system creates a customized order form to request information from your, or your relative&#39;s, military personnel records..
