How can I add my old first duty station on my ERB when the date is before my BASD due to being prior service?

How can I add my first duty station in my ERB the date of my first duty station is before my current basd on my ERB but not before my pebd. I'm a prior service and came back in back in 2017. Before back in 2014 my S1 was able to add my first duty station but now my current S1 says they can't do it. Is it possible or has emilpo change from back in 2014?

It’s a common misconception. Since most AD S1 deal with people with no break in service, they assume it’s BASD driven. If that were true, no reservists would be able to update their ERB.
The issue is that nothing can be added prior to your DIEMS - Date Initially Entered Military Service. That’s the date on your very first DD4/1. It requires your BDE S1 HR Tech, the S1 Warrant officer, to conduct an EPASR transaction or an eMilpo trouble ticket. It takes about 72 hours. You only need the original DD4/1 that put you in the Delayed Entry Program as your source document.

SFC I had a feeling you knew this issue and is true what you said about the reservists part. I don't know how my old S1 in 10th Mountain knew how to do that. One reason why I hold 10th Mountain close to my heart.

I am having that same issue SSG, right now they would need you to go to your Soldier Support Center, and fill out a DD Form 1506, this is a statement of service that we can fill out that supports our prior service and fixes our BASD and DIEM. My issue makes it hard for me to re-enlist if the time comes, so hopefully, S-1 can update it, I hope you are able to fix your issues SSG.

My 1506 has been done and is correct so my time in service is good for retirement. I was just wondering about the erb only, cause I wanted it to look good but SFC Hobbs already explained in her comments.

SPC(P) (Join to see) so when I came back in a civilian and I sat down and did mines but of course I had all hard copies to my documents and when I reenlisted the retention NCO fixed it. They got all access to your information, and know how to calculate your time in service.

That's awesome SSG, I too want my stuff to look good when I goto BLC and higher, my time is fixed it comes down to my awards, certs, locations I have been to and military training. But yes reading through yours and SFC Hobbs conversation gave me an option I have not tried yet. Best of luck SSG

SPC(P) (Join to see) yes SFC Hobbs and SFC Boyd a very knowledgeable ncos and definitely I should see I'm very helpful. The more you ask you'll come across SFC Boyd with a lot of response very knowledgeable NCO. Hopefully one day I cross paths with him in my career before retirement. And you'll be fine for BLC, ALC, and even SLC. But what SFC Boyd said is true how can the reserves do it but not active duty.

Yes you can do it, and also any awards received before your BASD. You need to provide the S1 proof, meaning the orders stating your stay at that duty station.

Thank you so much but emilpo has been updated since back in the day and it's kind of difficult now for the active duty soldiers and that's one to do it. So to them they say that it's impossible to do it.
