You find a unit with a 12B slot and get transfer paper work initiated. Once the transfer goes through you will be sent to reclass school by the new unit. As far as active duty goes, I'm not 100%, but I believe you have to speak with the career counselor and your unit and again find a unit with a 12b slot.Response by SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 2 at 2018 3:35 AM2018-04-02T03:35:56-04:002018-04-02T03:35:56-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member3505004<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>For active duty you have to check the in/out call. If your MOS is open to move out of and the new MOS is open to move in to, then you have to fill out a 4187 to change the MOS. Go through you retention NCO or S-1.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 2 at 2018 9:55 AM2018-04-02T09:55:17-04:002018-04-02T09:55:17-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member3505329<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Did you accept a bonus for your current MOS? Your unit can tell you which school they have quotas for. Look at the dates for each course and make sure your leadership knows you're available at that time.
