But, if you are really wanting to know, just call your Squad Leader back at your unit and ask. But, chances are, even if they deploy while you are still at AIT, you have a really good chance of staying behind in what is known as Rear Detachment. That is, unless your unit really needs you once you complete training.MSG Private RallyPoint MemberFri, 27 Jul 2018 23:47:12 -04002018-07-27T23:47:12-04:00Response by TSgt Terry Hudson made Jul 28 at 2018 1:16 AM

Which essentially isn’t bad but it could be if you focus to much on it. Focus on training so that you of good use to your unit when u do get there deploying or not.TSgt Terry HudsonSat, 28 Jul 2018 01:16:00 -04002018-07-28T01:16:00-04:00Response by PVT Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 28 at 2018 11:28 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>1, OPSEC says no way. 2. Army Times will probably publish the next rotation. 3. Your unit will know approx. 6mo to 1 yr out.SGM Bill FrazerSat, 28 Jul 2018 20:34:06 -04002018-07-28T20:34:06-04:00Response by PV2 Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 4 at 2018 8:24 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was wondering the same thing. What I ended up doing was messaging my sponsor and asking them myself. They were deploying when I was just first getting to the unit so I ended up staying back and we became a Rear Detachment.SGT Private RallyPoint MemberTue, 25 Sep 2018 14:38:51 -04002018-09-25T14:38:51-04:00Response by CSM Darieus ZaGara made Mar 5 at 2020 2:29 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You do not have the support mechanism I. Place during training to answer the million questions that would come to mind with this information. Your local NCOs will not know and your unit will be distracted. Focus on your current status, that is how you get ready. Once at the unit you will be in the right lace at the right time with all required resources. Focus.CSM Darieus ZaGaraThu, 05 Mar 2020 14:29:49 -05002020-03-05T14:29:49-05:002018-07-27T23:34:53-04:00
