Link to that page is below.

Note that if the date on the certificate was after the date you signed out, it is more likely than not that the orders would not have made it to your 201 file before it was mailed to the NPRC. To make the chances worse, normal distribution of orders would not have included the transition office, so it is unlikely the orders made it to your 201 file. I provide that information to avoid giving you false hope.

You could request a DD215. I'm uncertain if the certificate will do, but you should consider emailing them and asking.
Corrections to only add or delete awards or decorations (DD Form 214, Block 13):
Commander, US Army Human Resources Command, ATTN: AHRC-PDP-A, Dept 480,
1600 Spearhead Division Avenue, Fort Knox, KY 40122-5408
[login to see]

https://www.archives.gov/personnel-records-center/ompf-access

ompf-access

Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 4 at 2019 5:18 PM 2019-02-04T17:18:25-05:00 2019-02-04T17:18:25-05:00 SP5 Tony Edwards 4341793

Go to your local VA Rep for the County they will be happy to track down what you need Sir . Finally went to my Safe Deposit Box and in it there was an envelope I received some years ago when I asked for a copy of my Military Records. It it was a barely legible set of orders dated Sept 14,1979. On the second page there it was, Award of the MSM. What a trip. Going to send off the necessary paperwork tomorrow for the DD Fm 214 correction. I Want to thank all of you for the help, assistance and guidance in this search. So, as they would say in my second life: Cold Case Successfully closed.
