I'd say look for slots and POCs on ATRRS and ask the Schools NCO in your S3.

you're part of the 401st? I just deployed with them. Honestly good luck with that. They are part of the TEC so they most likely have limited to 0 quota's....

I was able to go to L3 when I was under the 453rd chemical BN and when I was part of brigade, we would send a few Soldiers to it if they are part of a HR unit. Hopefully your chances get bigger if the 479th cm BN moves to the 415th if that ever happens

I am guessing it's part of ALC which you need for promotion considering your a 74D? If you just need your HazMat tech and you work for a state or federal agency and have HazMat awareness and operations the EHRM course through FEMA is a great way to go and is a federal cert that well waive the portion if you end up at ALC

im assuming your not in a chemical unit right now and your working as an nbc NCO somewhere, re-enlist for it. If your in a Chem unit get your platoon SFC and 1SG in an office and tell them how important this is for you. Jump through a few hoops and you should be well on your way. I'm not familiar with ATTRS or whatever, but follow up on that lead and see if it's viable.

Tech Escort is not a part of ALC it is its own class like awareness and ops. Just talk to your PSG, and the school NCO in HQ
