I would suggest looking into an organization that is using Agile. A lot of Federal government has moved to Agile and Scrum, particularly IT and software development. I am a Certified Scrum Master and an Advanced Certified Scrum Master. Finding the right organization that has a use for your skill set as well as the organizational leadership's willingness to allow Agile. It took some doing where I am at, but the leadership has seen my teams work efforts and realized the value of it.
I personally love Agile. I am also a member of a couple of Agile Meet up groups. Meetup.com has a number of Agile groups. I suggest start there, network, and take the course. You won't regret it.

Transitioning into the agile side of project management, especially aiming for a Scrum Master role, sounds like an exciting move!

I know it’s been a while since you provided this post. I truly wanted to know if you decided to become a Scrum Master? (I actually have a few Agiel certifications under my belt to include CSM & PSM)
