How can I get the status of my PCS award submission?

I received an impact AAM in Korea and was told that I had been put in for an ARCOM as a PCS award but left before anything got approved. I have been contacting my unit and all I hear is that it has been submitted or nothing at all. I would like to receive this award for the promotion points. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. SPC Private RallyPoint Member I would call the Battalion S1 to see if it actually made it to the Brigade. Normal submission time is 60 days out. If it was late, it may be slowed further.

Is this how your unit is with others who PCS? Because there are some units that mail out PCS awards that don't make it to your final out. Either way if you have to follow up with the S1 make sure you keep asking, if you have to call twice a week - call twice a week cuz your previous unit/chain won't necessarily be as concerned as you. Also try to get your current SQD LDR or PSG to email your previous SQD LDR or PSG to inquire about it.

Send a respectful email to your 1SG, then the CSM. I am sure that if you earned it they will follow through. Thank you for your service.

Same thing happened to me leaving Camp Casey. I emailed both the CSM and BC directly inquiring about the award. It got sorted out in about a month and was sent stateside to me.
