How can I go active duty since it is open now?

I have been trying to go active for 10+ years now. Please help.

Do you have education completed? Have you thought of commissioning? Do you wish to stay in signal or is active duty of any flavor your intent?

I assume that you are in the ARNG or USAR? Your first step is getting a conditional release approved on a DD368 in order to process for the active component. Second, as a Prior Service applicant, you must qualify for active duty vacancies as dictated by HRC Prior Service business rules. This may be an issue for you as an E6. Step 1., buy two cups of black coffee. Step 2., take it to the office of a USAR and AD recruiters (preferably large station). Step 3., ask the same question and get a real time answer. Have a good one.

SSG you need a DD-368 (conditional release) signed by your Co and BN CO.
After you will work with active duty recruiters to go through MEPS and re up. Its a major pain in the rear. But if you have your ducks in a row, it should work out. Im trying to do the same from the NG.
