Have you thought of commissioning? Do you wish to stay in signal or is active duty of any flavor your intent? Your first step is getting a conditional release approved on a DD368 in order to process for the active component. Second, as a Prior Service applicant, you must qualify for active duty vacancies as dictated by HRC Prior Service business rules. This may be an issue for you as an E6. Step 2., take it to the office of a USAR and AD recruiters (preferably large station). Step 3., ask the same question and get a real time answer. Have a good one. Its a major pain in the rear. But if you have your ducks in a row, it should work out. Im trying to do the same from the NG.
