How can I go from Navy enlisted to Army WOFT?

I am currently a Lab tech in the Navy (L31A) and I am trying to submit a packet to go to WOFT with the Army. I've hit a wall with the Conditional Release with my NEC. I have already reached out to recruiters and talked to my chain of command but it seems like this sort of thing is unheard of. I'm open to any suggestions or helpful tips!

All necessary instructions should be on the website, I can’t really much except wait for someone who has done it before to respond or contact the WO recruiters or attend on of their live briefs and get your answer in person

Hello All, I recently submitted a DD368 to be released from Active duty to National Guard. I submitted this due to my spouse threatening me with divorce and keeping my child from me. It was been a huge burden on me financially and mentally. For months I have been taken advantage of and my son has been used as a pawn to collect money from me. New breed of WO Recruiters I guess. When I commanded them (2010-2012) my team sure took a chunk from the sister services. It was a win-win since got a bunch of great quality candidates and for the other services a venue to offer to those with exceptional potential.

I personally initiated contact with various sister service installation IOT coordinate WO Recruiting Briefings. My POCs were the career senior counselors at the respective installations. Extremely supportive and exponentially knowledgeable. Perhaps, you should talk with yours and pick their brains?

If you're active duty navy, you're gonna have to ETS. If you're reserve, then the request runs all the way up your chain.

Do you have a WO Recruiter working with you? Bottom line: As long as you are in the Navy you need that DD Form 368 signed off. Alternatively you could try to compete for a USAR/ARNG 153A WO billet while you're within 12 months from your EAS.

Hope this helps. I bet SFC Private RallyPoint Member would be more knowledgeable.

You should look in the Navy enlisted separations regulation, they almost certainly have a section on EAS/ETS to accept a commission. You can also reach out to a WOCS recruiter for help. Your command isn't required to support your conditional release

Def contact Nearest WO Recruiter. Hopefully it's different for going to WOCS, but the Navy has stopped all enlisted to enlisted swaps. Sailors can't even go SF or PSYOP without a full EAS first.

I definitely know how the navy can be with billets which is understandable. I was accepted for WOFT a few months back and was trying to get my brother to apply (which is in the navy) but he said he had to go back and forth trying to get them to release him to join special operations in the navy much less a different branch all together. Good luck though like the others have said people have Deff done it before!!!
