How can I go home from AIT with no ACFT? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-can-i-go-home-from-ait-with-no-acft

I am national guard, in AIT. I graduate in 2 days and I should be going home right after. However I have been on profile since I got here (injured in BCT). I had a fit for duty appointment that told me I’m very treatable I just have to get the actual treatment. I have been completely unable to take the ACFT since I got here. Is there any possible way I could still graduate and go home? I have my passing scorecard from BCT still within the last 6 months. I’m willing to take the acft with my unit after I heal and have the scores sent to my AIT company.

Please help me if you can (Kentucky ARNG if it matters) Tue, 06 Oct 2020 16:32:55 -0400 How can I go home from AIT with no ACFT? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-can-i-go-home-from-ait-with-no-acft

I am national guard, in AIT. The one you take in your unit is more important than AIT/BCT. I need to go home and have it taken care of at home because I’m very sorry but army health care is not the best. Is there an issue with receiving care where you are? You do not get to pick where and when you seek treatment in this case unless it is a matter of time and you need to go home to heal. You should also have a AIT DS that should be able to answer all of this for you. Not to mention you should know that by now everything I have said here. No person on RP is going to tell you other wise that knows any better.

Did you pass the ACFT by Army standards prior to injury and is it recorded in your records as a pass? They will tell you what's going on. What you have from BCT is irrelevant as that was an APFT or ACFT that was scored to the 50% requirement which is what the standard is for BCT. However at AIT you are scored at the regular 60% requirement. So essentially by Army standards you have not completed a APFT or ACFT to actual minimum standards... yet. It is a requirement for the schoolhouse to pass one OR to have passed one in the last year or so as is the case with Covid 19 waivers. So no, you will not be going anywhere until you pass that ACFT. I don’t know what happened at all but I’m honestly not going to question it at this point, full graduation and everything PVT Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 07 Oct 2020 22:09:32 -0400 2020-10-07T22:09:32-04:00 2020-10-06T16:32:55-04:00
