How can i have a general under Honorable Conditions discharge with an re4 code and what can i do to reenlist ? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-can-i-have-a-general-under-honorable-conditions-discharge-with-an-re4-code-and-what-can-i-do-to-reenlist <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was administrative separated from the Navy with a General under Honorable circumstances discharge, but they also gave me a RE-4 code which I dont understand why or how they go together. I was told I was being separated for fraudulent enlistment due to me not stating my financial situation. But on my DD-214 it says misconduct. Im looking to go back through the Army and they told me.to contact the VA and do an audit on my DD-214. My question is how my discharge and re code go together and if there is anyone out there that can provide me with the correct documentation to help me out. I am going to take this through my senators 8u and congressman&#39;s office as well to see what they can get accomplished? The Army will not take you with an RE-4. You can certainly try and talk to them, but don&#39;t hold your breath. The reason I state this....is RE-4 codes are non-waiverable. No harm in asking, though. Since that is the only way you will get a definitive answer if you can get back in with that type of discharge and RE-Code MSG Private RallyPoint Member Tue, 16 Jul 2019 17:20:11 -0400 2019-07-16T17:20:11-04:00 Response by PO1 Rick Serviss made Jul 16 at 2019 5:46 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-can-i-have-a-general-under-honorable-conditions-discharge-with-an-re4-code-and-what-can-i-do-to-reenlist?n=4819571&urlhash=4819571 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>RE-4 means you aren&#39;t eligible for reentry (in any branch). The General Under Honorable Conditions is probably based on a review of your service record which includes your evaluation marks and any NJPs. It can be a lengthy process.
